Fix for 2007 daylight savings time
I called Sharp Electronics (about the failure of the clock to detect the new 2007 daylight savings time), and it turns out Sharp Electronics is a different company then Sharp who sell/support the atomic clock. I got the number for this company and these are the instructions for updating the clock's time (should work in any time zone).
1) Pull the batteries and wait a few minutes.
2) Put batteries back in - time will set to 8:00 (or possibly something different).
3) Press the "leverage button" (just above an to the left of the time zone buttons) and the clock hands will spin.
4) Release the leverage button when the correct time is reached.
5) Supposedly, this new time will track correctly and keep accurate time.
I asked what would happen next fall, and they said if if didn't track correct, steps 1 and 2 above should be sufficient.
Hope this helps - not the greatest time piece to be sure.

DST not working
It does not appear this clock is compatible with the new Daylight Savings Time changes.
If you are is the Eastern Time zone, do not buy this item.

Clock works good, Instructions on use.
I agree that it is difficult finding online instructions for this clock, I can add the following info. I have had the clock for about 2 years. I am currently in Indian Springs, NV. It keeps the correct time by radio control within 1 second on the correct time. I have several different radio control clocks from several companies, encloding a Casio radio control watch which keeps excellent time.
Now comes the however, the clock will change for daylight savings time one day late, if you are patient and don't try to change it earlier. If you set the time manually after putting in the batts, it will not work on radio control, it will operate only as a simple clock. The clock will change to 4,8,12 oclock, after you put in the batts. Press the time zone button for the time zone you live in. You have to wait for the clock to receive a signal which doesn't seem to pick up to the early am hours. After which the clock will run fine. If you want to turn off daylight savings time, you must push a little unmarked button above the time zone buttons. I searched the web to get the answer for the turn off the daylight savings time option because I am moving to AZ. I would rate this clock 5 stars except for them not having any customer support. I had to go to Sky Scan and read the instructions for their clock to get the answers I needed.
